New Frontiers Academy

Opening May 2009

New Frontiers Academy is a therapeutic boarding school for boys ages 12-16. Our vision is to help adolescent boys develop purpose-driven lives by instilling in them courage, competence, and hope for the future. Our goal is to provide a low teacher-student ratio and a premier experiential learning environment that mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally enhances the educational process for adolescent boys with ADHD, learning difficulties, behavioral problems, alcohol/drug abuse, low self-esteem, academic underachievement, and other significant life challenges.

New Frontiers Academy is situated on 100+ acres of rolling hills and lush acreage in a remote area of Middle Tennessee. Activities incorporated into the learning environment at New Frontiers Academy include: adventure ropes courses, climbing walls, paintball, equine therapy, mountain biking, hiking, camping, canoeing, rappelling and much more.

In addition to a premier experiential learning environment and a solid academic program, the New Frontiers Academy curriculum also includes character education as a vital component, as well as individual, group, and family therapy activities. Therapy at the Academy is provided by state-licensed mental health clinicians through Healing Hearts of Tennessee Inc.
